So you have a new business, but only a few customers…how are you supposed to display your company’s true credibility?

That’s where advertising comes in! Okay, we know you’ve probably heard the same few things over and over again: be on social media, start a blog, run a commercial, etc. etc. But what if those tactics aren’t working?

Let’s back up a few steps and start with the most basic of approaches: build a relationship. Your customers are looking to you to receive a product or service. Of course, they also have to trust you in order to come back…that’s where the relationship aspect comes in. By forming a strong relationship, the customers will not only increase your credibility, but they may refer you to their friends.

However, for the individual’s you haven’t built a relationship with, you need to grab their attention ASAP! Not only grab it, but retain it through smart advertising. This aspect is incredibly important as reaching new customers is the livelihood of your business. Be sure you have a plan or strategy to properly display your company’s assets. One of our biggest tips? Look at what problem you can solve for your customer.

So you have the relationship, you have the advertising, now all you need is the credibility. Building a trustworthy company takes time! In other words, don’t attempt to speed up the process by cutting corners – that’ll backfire in the long run. If you maintain the relationships, continue to solve your audience’s problems and create solid advertising, you’ll see the customers running through the doors!
